It’s been a hectic few days here but had a fab time more memories made Waiting to hear from hospital as it seems there has been a mix up with appointments 4 weeks ago my consultant asked for an MRI and 24 hr heart monitor so she could look at results next week ..... only MRI is for the 10th and heart 15th and my Zometa is put off till next week .... something has gone wrong somewhere let’s hope it doesn’t cause me any issues Secretary is sorting it out waiting for a call now
Well first thing we went to Meadowhall to buy two new chests of drawers for the new house from M&S. Then SWMBO decided she needed a new mobile phone so O2 gladly obliged. I got a pair of insoles for a pair of boots that have stretched and have become a pain when I walked any distance. When we got home we then did a tip run with the shit that we sorted from one of the garages yesterday. I was planning a ride out tomorrow with Ducati Manchester guys tomorrow so when I got back I thought I’d check tyre pressures on the Scrambler. Sorted the back one ok but the front was flat and when I went to pump it up again it just pissed air out. I’ve spent the past hour and a half trying to sort the valve out but it’s fucked. I’ve also called all the likely places that could sort it and they’re all closed till 2nd January. Not happy!
Iv just got home from my parents, farther had a fall three days before Christmas so he's been in hospital for the last week, not sure whether he will come out very soon as my mother can't cope with him, he's 93 next month and mum is 90. When I got home I have fitted a new PIR sensor to the outside security lights. Steve
Work is quiet so decided C:\ drive was a bit low on space so had a tidy up. 4 hours later Windows is working again .
Left somewhere not even remotely spellable and went to Zlín to a shopping centre, bought a casual Czech made pig skin jacket, bought Mrs Ex some new leather boots, then drove to Jarinovica to her patents - back to Kromeriz in a few mins to order in a Pizza
Somehow found my self back in glos shopping. Need to get some friends. This spending time with swmbo is killing me
I found a little place in Huddersfield. Guy was an old greaser and sorted the valve out in two minutes and wouldn’t take a penny because “he was helping out a fellow biker”! I gave him a £5 to get himself a drink for his troubles! Excellent service! Just spent the last hour filling in forms relating to house sale for the solicitors. Fuck me it can be complicated and confusing. Still got some to do, but we’ve both lost the will to live so it’ll have to wait.
Been to the tip with a van full of Christmas crap, finished off the turkey curry now lay on the sofa, feet up. Off out later for booze with friends.
