Meh, dont mind the piss taking - the zed has done its job and done it well....not one problem with it in 4, going on 5 years now...., all the upgrades that its had have made a good bike better, never fails to start on the button, never broken down, not so much as a warning light....use it most days and when its been caught in what i would say adverse weather (3 hours of torrential rain) its got me home. Brilliant bike and, if i had to flog'em all and keep one - that'd be the one.
I was supposed to be going away for New Year, but because of the bad weather, they've now postponed the trial till March
I experienced the worst customer service today at a store in town. I don't want to mention the name of the store because I'm not sure how I'm going to proceed. Last night I bought something from this store. I paid cash for it. I took it home and found out it didn't work. So today, less than 24 hours later I took it back to the store and asked if I could get a refund. The girl in the store told me “NO” even thoughI still had the receipt. I asked if I could get a replacement instead then. Again this person told me "NO." I asked to talk to a manager now as I'm really not happy and I explained that I had just bought the item, had got it home and it didn't work. The manager just smiled and toldme to my face that I was "OUT OF LUCK." No refund. No FREE replacement. Nothing. I''ll tell you what... I am never buying another Lotto Ticket from there again
I’ve been measuring our mezzanine floor in the far garage and answering some questions that our buyer has sent our estate agent.
Been testing the water with Mrs B about getting ours valued and may be in the market this year. Since the garage extension is too much hassle, so a no go, there’s nothing for me in the house. It was the plan from day 1
My plan for retirement is to sell the house and downsize, but to upsize the garage (or probably have a bike room extension as well as a large garage).
Rob,This one looks the part and definitely a blokes cave, with a few tweaks for the kitchen/bathroom areas
So far have just sat around. Winter is now upon us. My son is in town from California. We watched Faster and Hitting the Apex one evening then cleared snow and started the sleds. The old Ski Doo needs new fuel lines so that's next on the agenda...continue where I left off. My nephew is also in town from the Carolina's. Hence needing 3 sleds running to go riding. Also have to get a little more organized...
That's hilarious! Can't say I've ever seen one in their catalog. Good thing, that would've cost a small fortune I'm sure. I usually use it to clean cobwebs. It works great getting into tight places without disrupting wiring and such. Nothing like having a primarily white garage to maintain.
Finally unpacked and used my new saw that I bought a couple of weeks ago. Battery operated I'm really impressed. Got the soffits boarded so just the PVC fascia to do now and treat the exterior timber.
Ok so it was yesterday, I ordered a Healtech quickshifter on eBay. Got the 10% discount so hopefully it will arrive soon. I’ve wanted one for ages. Let’s see what it’s like on the Monster. I’m really looking forward to kicking that shifter whilst the bike is cranked over and the throttle is wide open.
Been to a classic car day at frogmill hill (or something like that). A real mix, including one for @JimVee that makes his look mint
