Got bored this afternoon so had rummage behind the TV and got the frame out for the TZ, cleaned up the swinging arm, assembled the rear shock and bolted the bits together. Still got to true up both wheels yet but got another 6/7 weeks before the fork legs come back from re-chroming so plenty of time.
Yeah, got a bit effed off with the powers that be and went into forum self isolation for a couple of weeks. Just kept on little bit at a time, trueing up the wheels is defo a black art which I'm still trying to master.
I've gone green! My hot water is heated by gas and the gas heater keeps going wrong (normally when I am in the shower!) I had someone look at it before Christmas and he reckoned that it would be too old to get parts and so he recommended replacing it. I am but not with gas! I just signed up for an electricity hot water heater from www.fisherfutureheat.com. It uses a chemical reaction with sodium acetate trihydate (Ithink) that with the addition of electricity produces heat, They have little pouches to demonstrate that skiers use to keep their hands or feet warm. So, I dump gas and I'll be the greenest house in Berkeley! They can also replace my night storage heaters and I will look at that after sorting out my hot water. Although I will use a bit of electricity, I can dump gas! I was trying to get gas engineers in to quote for a gas for gas replacement heater. I got total disinterest. Apart from being rude f***kers, thy must know that their profession and future is dead.
As a health and safety man please reassure us that you spec’d it out with the optional orange things on each corner and additional stalk on the dash?
Had the van detailed and some paint correction then a bit of ceramic coating....not a swirl mark in sight
Not too sure about that, but my wife refer's to me as "Dickhead" which is much better than "Knobhead"
My neighbour - "How many rest days do you get from the gym these days Ron?" Me - "Oh between 3 and 5 years Alan"
Got bored again (second time since lunchtime) and both wheels are now trued up and centred. Now which bits to look at next
Taxed the Panigale. Full day out tomorrow with Bazza, really looking forward to it. My first ride on it this year, mid July, unbelievable. The Mrs is doing well with the Chemo, another session today. Only two more to go. She’s done amazingly well with it.
Went to a nice park with the Mrs and dog this morning. Then fitted the corse panels I picked up yesterday. Decent cycle ride tonight.
