Stupidly I put a Pyrex dish empty in the oven to warm up while I cooked prawns for a tikka masala for dinner around half hour before keep fit. Well I pulled the dish out of the oven popped the prawn curry in it put the lid on and picked up the dish yup with my fingers to put back in the oven and couldn’t let go well I did eventually onto the floor one blistered finger later Bloody hurt too sudacrem works a treat Ooouchy

Not judging by the breaking in and stabbing, friends don’t usually stab each other unless they’re on Jackass or some such.

yes the dish broke I did try to retrieve it but the sound of bits of glass as I scraped it out I had to bin it and make pasta bake instead
I'm sorry to hear, I hope your finger didn't blister. I'm not sure if it's medication, old age or increasing impatience but I can relate to the glass bit from at least 3 occurrences last year where I dropped new jars of stuff(one was Marmite!) and tried to salvage some for my use only but stopped as I crunched on a slither of glass, so binned the lot and will do from now on.
