Took a ride to IoW via Lymington/Yarmouth ferry to see a mate who lives on the island. It nearly didn’t happen, battery was playing hard to get, then low fuel, low front tyre pressure, followed by remote key battery deciding it needed to be changed. Very agreeable bacon bap with coffee at Freshwater bay. Surprised that I amassed 151 miles.
A quick walk from Sandsend into Whitby and back, Jeez the weather was grim, blowing a hooley and waves of drizzle flying in just as well I was Gore-texed up to the hilt ! The Abbey was looking moody and atmospheric in the mist.. Rough seas.. Whitby owes a lot to Bram Stoker and the story of Dracula .. Whitby was pretty quiet due to the grim weather, quite like it that way

Today I joined the march for Palestine. Me and half a million others. Not up to walking the whole way, but I wished to be there at least for a bit.

It was very good natured and friendly. Young families with children, elderly couples, everything really. Some police around but friendly and helpful. I didn't see any horses. 300,000? Whatever number is given out, treble it if you want a realistic number.
Had friends round today for brunch, which I cooked. A few glasses of Buck’s Fizz with brunch, followed by an afternoon just chilling out and chatting while drinking a few g&t’s. A great way to spend a Sunday.
