Donned the black tie and suit and attended my uncle’s funeral over in Wales. It was good to catch up with all my cousins but a shame it was on such a sad occasion.
Fixed the smoke alarm battery. Why do the bloody things always go into warning mode in the middle of the night?
Fixed an E-bike battery again.. didn't waste any time trying to diagnose the fault as it's mostly beyond me, so just decided to replace the (only) 11 month old BPC (as below) and it's working again.
22 mate, so shouldn't really be that chuffed, but from a standing start last year (after breaking both wrists falling off a bike) it's a start. Now I'll win nowt FFS
Bollocks! I can hardly reach the bars! I'm trying to think of how to socially engineer my practice pharmacist to prescribe amphetamine! And that's a bag of nuts and raisins down the chute. No problems dropping a log but the jeans won't be any looser tomorrow! Sometimes I look at my Ka-bar and wonder if I couldn't just slice it off.
Today I have polished off the bottle of Pinot Grigio that was supposed to be for Linguine Prawns in Creme Fraiche. Stick that in your Funk and Wagnalls!
