  7. Had a call that my boat was listing to port so rushed down to find a rope was caught up on part of the mooring and pulling it over as the river rose. Luckily I had my penknife on me to cut the rope and free it up , all sorted now.

  10. I can confirm it’s going to cost a lot of money!
Upwards of a grand to £5k for a short throw projector. Around £500 for an electric remote controlled screen and then there’s the cost of surround sound speakers and amp
I’m hoping to reduce the cost by using the amp and speakers already in the room and considering a manual pull down screen.

  11. Ouch...so prices still haven't come down!

  15. Just had a rather pleasant Indian takeaway. Now just chilling out with some music and a cocktail or two.

  16. Had two experiences that demonstrate just how f*cked up this world is.

Nonsense stats made up to scare people into doing something, followed by WTF moment of fanny rag bins in all the mens cubicles at Strensham services...world is burning: best burn with it! (apologies it pic loads its side, I didn't fall over PMSL at these ;) )

  19. Men have colostomy bags too what a great idea to be able to bin the bag
Think outside the box instead of assuming

https://abiggerlife.com/new-way-forward/disposing-of-your-stoma-appliances/#:~:text=Another option would be using,go to your outside bin.

"That’s all you need to do when you are at home and you have your supplies close to hand but the process is different when you are out and about. For ladies, using the sanitary bins in public restrooms can be an option. If possible, you can use a disabled toilet. You’re not classified as disabled but it gives you more space, more room, more privacy and a big bin to put your rubbish in."

  20. Not all disabilities are visible. That’s what I keep getting told when I think someone is taking the piss in carparks.
