Sad, but I was in the queue for the tip, aka HRC at 0845 waiting for it to open. One of today’s chores done, hoping for some bicycle time before later chores kick in.
I'd love to, but only if I can maintain the the same standard of living which is where the sums come in, and at the moment they're not adding up
A really chilled day. Which makes a change. Breakfast in the garden followed by a nice dog walk . Lots of just sitting about and doing bugger all . Currently catching up on WSBK from last week.
Went to show support at a battle of the bands clash last night. Friend’s brother is the drummer in the little unassuming 5 piece ensemble
did you take that pic? (#91252) that is excellent. Off to a breakfast meet today after a gruelling 250 mile marathon yesterday.
I did, whilst it magnificently captures the moment visually, it omits the truly awful audio aspect of the experience
Nothing exciting today apart from two bike trips back to back, 40 minutes on each one just to keep my sanity / hand in........
Weekend away camping with a couple of old army mates on the bikes. Great time had by all. Weather was perfect for what felt like the first time this year.
Continuing helping mates of mine, yesterdays job was fitting a full set of coolant and oil hoses to my mates RSV1000. Took about 5 hours in the end (that coolant manifold down the left hand side of the engine is a right bastard) - Got it all fitted and buttoned back up...he left...then his side stand switch looks like its on the fritz so back and forth a few times from my house with tools, then a jump pack and finally sacrificed the battery from my zed (same part number...how lucky was that..!) sent him on his way home... Side stand switch on order!!
Bought tickets at The London Palladium for Hello Dolly! and An Evening with Jeff Stelling & Friends. One was a willing choice, the other is for my wedding anniversary...
