So what have you done today..?

  1. Think I got a bargain. Under 6k. Not matching numbers but it’s had a full rebuild and paint. Can’t wait for the better weather.
The blue does looks good to be fair :)

  2. Jesus looks like it should have been closer to 8k. I’m hoping to get change from 5k for a decent 250, I have an engine so far just waiting on a rolling chassis.

  3. The guy I bought from has two mint 250s for sale also. One is candy blue. He wants £4950 :) I was tempted with one of those as well lol. He enjoys restoring them as a hobby! He’s based in Hartlepool if interested.

  4. Very nice, did it come with a radiator cover and cap hose, the cover might be available still or remanufactured.

A mate of mine is just finishing a 350lc,rgv rebuild for someone, i said only to him today to start thread on here,

  5. It came with a cover but had a crack so he decided not to fit it. Managed to source a genuine Yamaha one on fleabay for £60 so not too bad :)

  14. Been to a garden centre with Mrs Scud for the first time in a while, I forgot just how much I dislike shopping.:(

Just ordered some flowers for her, she received some before by post, bought a 6 Month subscription so I have 6 months of being in the good books hopefully.:)

  15. Mrs GG was the recipient of a subscription from Bloom and Wild, the flowers always seemed to last longer than the usual bouquets you can buy in the shops.

  16. Finally got the confirmation I needed to accept my time is up at work. It’s complete BS and the people who’ve made the decision (as always) are beyond ill informed and incompetent (and totally spineless to boot) but nothings new there.
I’m now on gardening leave for the next four months to get the full compo (Desmo money :astonished: ) I also have an interview next week which will likely require me to go to Munich for a week if I’m successful.
Exciting times and I’m at peace with it all now.

chased in a new socket and wired in to a socket in the adjacent room. Went surprisingly smoothly. Ceilings drying out nicely so over the next few weekends I will be mostly decorating with a little plumbing thrown in for good measure to fit a new rad which are never the same size as the old one (that would be too easy).
