Yeh its a great location, literally a stones throw away from Ladybower, Win hill, Bamford edge etc...so plenty of hikers/mountain folk/cyclists/tourist traffic in general passing right through on a daily basis, even in the winter to a degree. Also looks to be great parking options going by street view but we'll have to see when we get there to confirm.
Apart from solicitors stuff, removal company stuff, utilities stuff I've made a start on packing...................well making up the boxes anyway. Doris will be here tomorrow to help fill them
Fit an aerator to the pond to hopefully help the plants and froggies. Had to add a 10 metre length of cable and a waterproof join, plus, repaired the hoover as electrical cable had pulled out. I'm quite proud of myself today!..
Wanted in all day for British Gas to come fix the cooker, as expected they were a no show. Checked out cost to fly to Japan to spend 19 days there with my Son, cheapest £953 direct flight from LHR to Tokyo.

Tried to fit windscreen wipers to the cars; out of 6 supplied, 1 is actually correct, 1 is completely wrong and the other 4 can be made to fit but I'm not happy with the way that the clips look, compared with the existing. Top are the two rears, bottom blade existing one, top is the replacement; 2 & 3 are the front wiper clips in place, 4 is the OE. Thanks Mr. Michelin, but it's back to Bosch by the looks of things.
