Robin & Anthony -both very good skiers. The first time I skied the couloirs on Le face was with them... Do you remember where they stayed in an apartment in Lac? The best ever was when they set up a jump, sking off out of the building into drifts -at high speed and a long fall down. How we never got hurt is beyond me. Their first year was as reps with Red Wing (I think) and then they took over from Crystal rep who was a photographer and his wife/ girlfriend. Harrys was a great place until the couple -from Manchester?- who ran it did a bunk with the money. I ran into them one night in a hotel in Klosters some years later... I think the guy was on the run for other "things" too. He was always OK with me but I wouldn't have got on his bad side. Did you know Mick from Skiworld? They were a tiny outfit then and were partners in the Poele d' Or too. Come along way since then.
Back home now....Yep....thats my plan. Even though (its kinda reset as from yesterday) ive got more movement than the day i did it...
If the quash ball is too hard at first to get the movement you want, you could also strip the outer layer off a golf ball to get started since they are softer? The great thing is you can be doing physio easily and often.
Much better forecast than yesterdays rain, so after breakfast, a ride over Honister A fair bit of ‘gravel’ washed onto the road near Lorton from recent rain. Plenty of sheep and lambs ‘ont road’ after the cattlegrid. Some people swimming in Crummock. Others in campervans at Honister with a picnic table out for breakfast. At Grange, the sun shone and it started to warm up a bit, for the ride home. Buttermere - glasslike, other than ripples from some ducks. Running beautifully @Nasher
