I noticed that aqueduct on one of Simon Weir's routes in Spain and sort of bookmarked it in my head... The route in question starts and ends in Segovia. Have a good trip home and come and try out the PP when you get the chance.
On the ferry. Easy drive from Segovia to Santander. Yesterday, north of Granada the external temperature gauge hit 40C! When we stopped for a coffee and opened the car door the heat just hit you like a giant hair dryer. That’s when you don’t want to be riding a bike. July and August riding in Spain, especially southern Spain, forget it.
Rode to the Owls Nest Diner for a large brekky, £12.50 including tea/coffee, it was too big for me to finish. Then off to Baffle Haus near Abergavenny. About 200 miles on the SL Can’t upload any photos, they’re too big? Never had that issue upload photos before

Not riding thank god, Just got out the pool it’s like a bath Monster’s seem to be the bike of choice here and as usual the roads are great just like Essex
Felt my age despite my usually stirling efforts. Thanks to Word Association. Mordor. And LOTR. I'm surprised my auto suggest keyboard doesn't recognise either. Then it occurs to me that trilogy must be 20 years old. Then 'Five Leaves Left', Nick Drake (yeah, I've got that one). In my early days on here I posted something about Mike Hailwood having lived in the village my uncle lives in (Tanworth-in-Arden). Well the Drakes did too. I've always had the vague thought of somehow using that to get into Gabrielle's knickers. I just looked her up on Wikipedia and she's 81. I think I'll give up on that one now.
