Oh are they? Fuck that then. One of the main reasons would be to get away from this miserable lot.

 

Oddly I feel like that today too. Not done any cleaning or maintenance this weekend as been away in Cornwall but when it cools down a bit I might clean one of the bikes.

 

Yep - 6th sense.....so many times in earlier life - days like to day have either...
1. Ended up in court.
2. Ended up in A&E.
3. Ended up emptyting my wallet after a catastrophic failure.
4. Ended up with a fixed penalty.

 

Painted/stained our top decking, ran out of stain!
Been a beautiful weekend but no bike fun for me ( other than cleaning the SL and adjusting the chain on the SS)
I’m taking myself off to France for my first solo trip next Sunday. I’m hoping touring will be much more bearable now I’ve fitted cruise control to the SS. wish me luck

I gave mine a quick foam/scrub/rinse but it needs a deeper clean.
Went for a quid razz to dry it off, after the oldies had vacated the garden centres and the roads

 

Well, ironically i went into the garage and thought...not been out on dads 400/4 since one of the lads on here balanced the carbs but, left it on reserve....i think one of the carbs is still a bit leaky so it emptied the tank! so thats that then....back in the basement (where its nice and cool) another cuppa - watching an old film...

 

Went out on the Multi for a short run of about 40 miles. Was hoping to go out with a mate but no answer for a week on the phone and no answer at his house. I know his Mum has been unwell so hoping all is ok.

Ride was mostly uneventful except for a bee getting into my helmet and landing on my glasses. Thankfully it was a dead straight bit of road so I could just pull in to one side. Saw a few bikers out in shorts which always makes me cringe, worst one had a kid of about 10 on the back in shorts as well.

Forgot my ear plugs so tinnitus is bad tonight. The Schuberth helmet is suppose to be very quiet but is far older than my old Shoei. Especially if you leave a small gap for air flow under the visor. On my last Shoei it made a small difference but seems to double the volume in the Schuberth.
