I thought it must be seeing the state of peoples teeth. Maybe its just the lack of dentists? Effing Tories!
Not sure it's the lack of Dentists, more the British don't seem to care much for their dental hygiene.
Perhaps thats true. Though I can tell you that my ex dentist told me 4 years ago that I was now being switched to A) Monthly dentist subscription plus 60% increase in fees compared to NHS or B) No subscription but Double fees and appointment availability subject to availability & no guarantees. There has been ZERO NHS dentist availability for all *new patients for more than 5 years in Stoke on Trent; until last month when a new one opened up. *This means all children who reach 18, anyone who moves into the area & anyone whose dentist closes. As you would expect there was no reduction in N.I. contributions to compensate for this.
It absolutely is a lack of dentists, or more accurately NHS dentists. There are currently no dentists in Herefordshire and Worcestershire who are taking NHS patients meaning that in order to get any dentistry done Mrs Visor has to go private, as will I when I retire. Unfortunately not everyone can afford this or maybe they have other essentials to prioritise unless there is an issue that needs sorting.
t I was under a NHS dentist until they retired, the replacement was a poor provider, we switched as a family to private so our children could remain under NHS care. I've been private for around 5 years now, not on a subscription though I pay as and when treatment is required. I have a check up every 12 Months plus whatever treatment is required. As far as I'm aware my daughter and son are still treated within the NHS until such time as they move out the area.
today i have faffed around cleaning greasy bits on an e-bike in the pretence that i will put them back together and finish it today
Been to the Motorhome and Caravan show at the NEC, got some quotes for things i want doing to the van
Tried an 8 mile walk along the River Tees to see if my torn ligament was up to proper walking again. Answer would be no.... Here is a castle..
