Who knows as he said it was on a optimate charger, cold weather perhaps with the Satnav and heated grips turned on will drain it quick if a poor battery.
Waiting on a flight to the Emerald Isle Attending a family members wedding party on New Year’s Eve being held in a castle. Should be quite a fancy do!
Drove upto the Lakes for a couple of nights, stopping in a shed….well that’s what it looks like anyway.
That's a job for tomorrow. Now waiting for the new V5 so I can put my private reg on too. We went out for a couple of hours earlier to test it on different roads, testing speed bumps and country roads etc and seeing what kind of set up I need. Its a pretty good ride tbh (as good as the Merc I had) and as it's on electric most of the time its very responsive and rapid when you boot it. Which is nice!
Apart from the front grille (which I'm not enamoured with) its pretty much a Range Rover with far more bells and whistles........and from initial reports its way more reliable too. And at a fraction of the price of the Range Rover and similar cars.
What's getting me about EVs - this being a subject I've ignored until there's so many on the road I can't anymore - is when they pull up beside you and it sounds like a train on the underground. That seems deeply incongruous. I'd feel happier if you got the clatter too. And the doors opened pneumatically.
