I have absolutely no idea, but it has been a noticeable increase in ev posts over the last month or so.
it's a fun day isn't it? - just been on the phone to C.A.B. myself to get help with some Tuesdays. Chap was very helpful, and i'm sure my blood pressure has reduced as a result.
So far, so good @Chris - I've done just under a couple of hundred miles in it so far in the past week that I've had it. I've driven on A roads, B roads and motorways, in the dry, the rain and yesterday in snow. It's handled impeccably. I've charged it 3 times too, both directly in real time, and on scheduled timings (midnight to 6am via the app) and each charge to 100% has cost approx £0.80 to £1 (so a max of £3 for just under 200 miles). I've also preheated it via the app before I've gone out in it to make sure that it was toasty for me when I left. Handling and performance has been as good, if not better than the Merc GLA 200 I had. And it's as comfortable, if not more so with all the storage etc in the car. I've used the "Adaptive Cruise Control" and normal cruise control and both worked well. The car also has 7 years warranty and you also get free RAC breakdown cover in case something does happen whilst you are out and about. If it does have a downside it's all the bings and bongs that it makes when you do something like go over the speed limit by 1mph. Also it doesn't retain any of the driver settings (other than the seat settings) and it reverts to default settings every time you switch it off/power down, so you have to go into the appropriate screen to put it back into "smart mode" or disengage "lane assist"or you have to reset the auto headlight dip each time (by nudging the indicator stick forward).......but I understand this is a European directive and every brand new car has the same issues (though some brands may have a software work around you can employ). The only other downside I can think of is that the DAB radio is a bit crackly but I understand that there is a software upgrade that the dealer can do and they are going to do it for me later this week when I take in the parcel shelf from the Merc that I had in my garage. So all in all I am pretty impressed with it so far. I've tried lots of scenarios to test it out and it's all been good. You get an awful lot of car for your money that's for sure, so if anyone is looking at a new car any time soon then I would recommend Jaecoo/Omoda at least for a test drive.
Hopefully there won't be any.........but if there are the yes I will. And I'll also report on the attitude/actions of the dealership
It might be worth asking the dealer (or someone the dealer can recommend?) to edit the settings of those gismos so that the default setting becomes the one you prefer? I had a few changed on my car via a software wizard. Its a five minute job and it ends the problem. Glad its all working out well. I expect it continue to do so too.
I've been unable to type much on my phone today as someone bought me a knife sharpener for Xmas and it works amazingly well, so quite a few of my fingers are now covered in Elastoplast
Just respray a bit of fencing with chrome paint then stick it to the front of a golf cart and glue a small telly/large iPad onto the dash and hey presto, you've made your own.
Took a walk out in the snow..... A set of ski tracks were encountered along with MTB tyre marks. Snowman The view back home The Wrekin to the right in the picture. You can just make K2 out in the distance. The middle of nowhere, keep to the road and beware of Werewolves.
Shortly catching a train to Oxford where I’ll be staying for a couple of nights. Amongst the other sights Oxford has to offer I’ll be going to visit the Ashmolean art gallery to see the Radio Head exhibition currently on display.
With six walks in six days, the New Year's resolutions are going to plan so far. The question is for me why don't folk open their gobs when you say hello to them.
