So what have you done today..?

  1. Or just get a large angry dog? Dogs also have their own inbuilt movement and noise sensors, although they're not always very well calibrated. Iggy has taken to mistaking the beeps emitted by my GoPro for the doorbell and goes fucking nuts every few seconds when I'm checking batteries or downloading footage etc.

  3. It's tempting, but if it got set off by foxes then the neighbours would string me up by the end of the week, there's that many of them. we also now have a regular magazine delivery during the night, so that might finish that operative off.

  4. As tempting as it is, we spend that much time out it simply wouldn't be fair on the dog; about the only thing we could have is a Greyhound as they are confirmed couch potatoes.

  5. CCTV cam and some motion sensor flood lights might deter fuckwits, though if they have opened your car without damage I have to assume they know what they are doing. Maybe you left it open by mistake?

  6. The thought had crossed my mind but it was parked up at about 9.30am and we both walked past it 4 times after that before going to bed; given that it is set to lock when I walk away from it & the number of times we went past it, I'm struggling to believe that the proximity locking failed AND we failed to notice it 4 times. The master tech at the dealers is going to see if there is a programme to read the alarm's memory & see when it was last accessed.

    This is the bit I can't get; if you have gone to the effort of breaking in without damage, why would you only nick some cash & somebody else's glasses, that were not on display; and why do it whilst you clearly cannot drive the car away because of the steering wheel lock?

  7. They dont like bright lights. Cameras are only useful if want to see how many are there before wading in with an axe

  8. Though cams do provide evidence to support why you smacked the scrote in the face with a cricket bat.

  9. The pond scum must have a unlock transmitter which they press prior to seeing inside your car. Otherwise they would know you have the steering lock and not bother. I imagine they look for newish the plates. Then from across the road, inside an accomplices car (with false plates) or some safe distance, select the correct code for the vehicle, which might take a few minutes. Once the doors unlock they hustle quickly inside the target car. Happily you had a steering lock which ended the game. They just grabbed anything that was to hand, probably hoping your glasses were Raybans...

  10. And pick up it's chite, just ask ElToro lol

  12. Had a great ride out with Uncle Baz. The weather was perfect, well, until it started to really warm up at 1 o’clock but we were back by 1.30. It was so good we didn’t stop to take any pictures, which was a shame.

    The ride through lovely rolling countryside with harvested fields took me from Cambridgeshire, joining Baz in Lincolnshire, in and out of Rutland a few times, Leicestershire and Northamptonshire. We got lost at one point and went down roads we’d never been down before, which was great.

    It really was England at its best right up to the point where Baz swept round a tight bend only to find a row of stationary cars. He elected to do a bit of off roading and went onto the grass just before a kerb and did an excellent job of holding it all together.

    I said;
    ‘Baz, try and keep it on the grey blur’.
    ‘I do but I elected not to hit the kerb’

    Which was just as well otherwise it would have ruined his birthday!

    Apparently he was something like 103 years old today…and still doing a good job of riding a Panigale.
