Whose idea was it to put the lambda sensor under the swing arm on an 1198? Bastard. :Banghead::Rage:unch:
Spent all day painting the man cave walls. While the joiner made the bespoke oak staircase. Its coming on now. Even filled the new beer/wine cooler.
Finished my last session of my DCPC, 35 hours well spent so that I can drive a truck in September lol, now drinking rough cider to celebrate
It is well known that northern Italians are barely Italians. Well, that's what the rest of Italy thinks, anyway. Some of them even have German names.
sadly pulled out of buying the Aprilia Shiver, there is a fault with the fly by wire throttle I'm not convinced they have fully sorted it, and as it only comes with a three months warranty I have decided not to take the risk, real shame as I loved the bike, it suited me down to the ground. Might go back to plan A and that's a brand new MT07. Or buy the spotless (and cheap) 8000 mile dull but worthy Honda CBF600N down the road from me as a second bike to run around on and keep my 600SS for a bit longer. Quite like the idea of having two bikes in the garage for a bit.
Pah! You've done 600s now. Get out there and buy a big fuck-off bike! Honda 600? What are you thinking about man?
put that heat shield stuff under my DP seat, underseat thingy wotsit, exhaust heat shields (both) and removed lambda (efuckingventually). Will wrap mid section tomorrow, give bike its deep clean and change fluids and rebuild.
need a Holiday. up shot got a shot of my sisters horse box when ever i want it 4berth camper and big enough for a rave in the back, ie bikes. might have a week or two down south before we say good by. i really do hate doing nothing at the end of the day.
It's roasty toasty here (30°C). Mowed the grass and used the brush-cutter. Which all takes a long time. Watered some trees at the periphery of my massive landholding. Then had a Ricard with lots of ice, chilled out, had a BBQ (of course) and am now looking at the England-Honduras game. Tomorrow I need to be up early to dig earth before it gets far too hot for that sort of thing. I need to get in the swimming pool too. Monday is a bank holiday - will I be allowed to actually get out on the bike? Maybe if I've done all my work tomorrow. They say that Monday will be 34°C, so it'll be biking very early or not at all. I don't want to be wearing a boil-in-the-bag suit when it gets to that sort of temperature.
pissing rain here. as per usual every good day here (2belters through the week) been transporting customers cars. following that logic Mondays gonna be a cracker.
