I did some hardcore cherry picking today. One more bucket of the things and the barrel will be full, thank God. Mind you, I will probably be able to listen to Test Match Special on Saturday while I pick those final cherries. Then I suppose it will on to the blackcurrants. It's that time of year. Didn't do any broad beans this year, but the veg garden is full anyway. Think I'll buy a couple of aubergine plants - they're quite fun to do. Carrot and lettuce germination was a bit patchy, so I've reseeded the gaps. You really can't have too many carrots. I had cooked radishes with the chicken this evening. Very nice.
Loads of red kites around my way. They wheel over the house permanently, as do buzzards. If you want to know the difference, buzzards have rounded tails, kites have forked ones. Also some kestrels around. They built a nest in one of my fir trees and to the best of my knowledge, had some sprogs.
Yep, I think I seen a pair of kites flying around yesterday evening. An awful lot of shot heard tonight.
I had some very good meetings today. Still some technical details to sort but I may have a rather nice project in the bag
a gondola that takes the fat f..k Americans from bar to slot machine? i'v made a decision. .i wont work tomorrow .
Rode in this morning... with all my vents open on my kit. It got progressively more and more cloudy and cold! fortunately it appears to have brightened up. Now I am scrabbling around trying to find handlebar straps and ratchet tie downs for my trip to Scotland next week.
And on that point I've never seen so many humungously enormous fat people, smoking whilst wearing oxygen masks with tubes up their noses racing around on mobility scooters! What a fucking race the Americans are!!
Dropped bike off at Hampshire M/c for a PC fitment and set up plus suspension overhaul. What do you reckon then....full Ti race system, KN filter, bog std motor...will I see 165 after...
Had a great morning.Popped some pills and took the SF out for a run.somehow I ended up at the Ducati dealershipwhere I did my usual dribbling over all the bikes on show.Felt so good that I did a detour on the way home and did a few more miles, some of them a bit more spirited than usual:Angelic:
Tangines morzines thonon TT D902 scratched. Woos lines? What woos lines. Knee down action. Nice hot and sunny. Brill. Fucking knackered. Cap columbine is a bit hairy. Gravel on hairpins and suicidal cyclists. Team sky was out too and I think miss trott was out too. Off to pub now for some more grimbergen. Petit Bernard tomorrow.
Well, I've spent the past three days looking for my wallet, which I stashed in a safe place in the house before the wife and I went to the States for a two week holiday. Trouble is, I can't remember where I stashed it, and it's got to the stage now, where I'm emptying cupboards and drawers for the third or fourth time....
Went to work vv early, then took children to school and had brekky at Warminster Waitrose, back to work for nine, left work at 1, squash lesson, back home and just washed two motorbikes.
Woke up at 4am. Did some work. Had breakfast with fat Americans at 8.30am. Went back to bed. Watched the England debacle from yesterday on TV again. Just answered some emails, and will review a contract this afternoon after I've gone for a walk in the sunshine Tomorrow I've got a five hour drive to Connecticut for what looks like being a tough/waste of a meeting.
