  1. 21 year old Essex girls are as scary as it gets ....leave well alone ;)

    :Dummy:

  2. I googled the chancel repairs, something about property owners having to pay for the upkeep of the local churches.

  4. Was reminded why i dont ride in Sussex mainly

  5. Fitted the Ventura rack, sure it will look alright in the dark..

  6. Did you get a ticket?

  7. Nope
Back to heading west for me

  8. Done a trial pack for WDW, feck these Mutley panniers n topbox appear smaller than the BM ones. Still only need my dragging jeans, grollies, t-shirts n bank card

  9. We were advised to take insurance when we purchased our house to cover this, it's more common than people think.

  10. Thousands of house owners are or might be affected by this. If the possibility that you might be one of them is very remote, you can indeed insure. If you find you actually are affected it is too late to insure - you can't buy fire insurance after your house is on fire.

  11. what happened?

  12. Luckily I live in a godless place, doesn't have a church, chapel, only a cemetery....oh and a pub with just a little more life than the cemetery.

  13. I went out with the Wey Valley AIM group.
It seems a lively bunch, enjoyed the observed ride. Really hard keeping to those speed limits. At least 2nd and 3rd gears are getting some use for a change.
Need to re-read road craft etc and practice. Last did the ROSPA in 2006 and I've lapsed into some bad habits.
Safety bubble too small, comfort braking (probably I just need to adjust the rear brake light actuator).

The group are really friendly, but .....but.....I'm into bikes....not bikers.....know what I mean?

  14. Thanks to John W for the invite.

Undecided on if its for me. Sure if I did the 'proper stuff' it may be different. Tbh combination of new people riding with, nadgy roads and lots of turns which meant a broken rode marking turns etc, couple guys seemed cool enough but tbh wasnt really made to feel that welcome...and being overtaken by a guy while we were filtering who was the 20mph slower in very corner (and I wasn't trying @AirConTechnical ;) was even on best behaviour no wheelies...) within the first 15 minutes kinda set my mood.

Ride back was better, far fewer on the ride and less turns

But sussex roads are slow, congested, covered in trees or gravel. And thats just the back roads lol

  15. And I'm into bikers as much bikes tbh, well social side anyway, hence I dont enjoy riding alone too much. Although I seem to do very little but that recently :(

  16. Gone all week without so much as a twinge, then the evening before I go back to work things are going down hill. Popped some 500mg paracetamol in the hope it brings things back under control. I'm hoping I wasn't premature in declining stronger pain killers.

  17. I spent most of Sunday trying to stop the bleed from my shin and another that I got on my forearm (slightest touch of something sharp will rip the skin or a light knock will cause a huge bruise)........

.........six steri-strips on my arm and four on my leg; plus several coats of Liquid Skin, trying to stop the damn things from oozing blood.

  18. Unfortunately the liability is not necessarily for the same parish the land is in, or even the same diocese. You could be liable to repair the chancel of a church many miles away.

  19. What if you're an aetheist/agnostic? :)

  20. you're still the property owner....
