unloaded the van after taking the WR for an MOT yesterday...it passed..again ! and then filled it up again with shite out of the garage, shed, wifes car to go in the work skip
Went with the wife to Teggs Nose for a walk with the dogs thinking it was too poor for a ride out. Just before Cat&Fiddle saw 1199 with unknown and then on my return the car park was heaving with bikes. Ha, serves me right!:Shamefullyembarrased:
Bsb brands hatch for the weekend camping, more beer than I can remember till stupid o clock. Great time had by all and sunny enough to dry the tent today after a awful night ! Good to be out on the Multi
Clear sunny day so as soon as the roads dried I went for a much needed rip on the SF. Aah that's better...
I saw a bloke wearing camouflage gear in the shopping centre today. I guess it's fair to say that it was pretty shit camouflage
Cleaned the bike, put it up on track stands, secured it and probably put it away for the next 6 months. Despite the weather this weekend, the roads close to me are now very damp in the mornings and the leaf fall is heavy. A sad day as I still have the bug to get out.
I've just got back from a BBQ in the Jura. This involved setting off at 5pm for a 700m climb, then a stonking BBQ with various beers, an excellent half bottle of Italian red, sausages, pork chops, salad, gooey cheese and chocolate. BBQ the old fashioned way in a circle of stones with dead wood. Brilliant view of Lake Geneva and Lausanne and the Milky Way. Coming back down in the dark was sometimes a little challenging. Saw a couple of chamois, but sadly no wild boar although my mate has seen them on similar walks there. Quite worn out and smokey now. Shower then bed.
