I'm sure they just wanted to give you a discount for being extra safe after your course. Those lovely insurance companies are like that, they love to give you reasonable premiums with no loadings for accessories or depending on where you live. They never insist you fit expensive trackers and alarms either. But best of all, they love to pay out in the event of a claim and never refer to small print.
