i went out on my 1100s sunday setting off i stalled it at some traffic lights, pulling it to the kerb i started it up but for some reason it had lost the time, the service sign had come on & also the millage had gone up from 13500 to 99399 on the dashboard has anybody come across this and if so the outcome please
Nigel, I've had an 1100 and those dashes are prone to misbehave. I can't help with a diagnosis, but if no one here can help (this seems to a mainly water cooled 1200 site) try multistrada.net They are mainly air-cooled riders and there are plenty of knowledgeable people on there who could help you.
update, was out last sat and the odemeter reg the 120 miles i did . so i am going to let things run & see if it goes back to 00000.
