  1. 2AD25D23-EC6A-41B7-8385-2BD939C79753.jpeg Thanks very much for the wheels Neil, as new condition & virtually unused Contis, for a great price, you may have noticed that I barely winced! (Out of character really), anyway I’m looking fwd to getting them fitted and see how she rides with road rubber.

  2. I fitted the front wheel this afternoon, I weighed the original wheel 9.8kg and the the spoked wheel 11.5kg, both without disc but with tyre, unfortunately it’s with an MT60 tyre on the original wheel and a Conti attack on the spoked so I can’t say exactly what the wheels weigh but obviously the spoked wheel is heavier, jeez those disc bolts were tough to get out, I’ve put them back in with copper grease and the minimum amount of threadlock on the last couple of threads, as always using the correct tools made the job easy, here’s a shot of my “Snap On” axle driver.

  3. Fitted now, you can feel the extra weight in the wheels when changing direction above 50mph, not in a bad way as such but it can be felt, as a bonus the bike feels more stable.

  4. I'm am aware that these things are all down to personal taste, but I have to say it looks a lot nicer with the spokes, and a nice job.
