  1. I’m hoping the same for the weather.

  2. sorry mate didnt see this reply... no, ive not advertised it elsewhere... its all a bit daunting, ive never sold a vehicle to someone i dont know.... i dont like the idea of ebay because of the fees so i might put it on bike trader? any advice on this? its a great lil bike just not my bag

  3. Ive sold a few bikes on eBay Chizel, only ever had one problem where someone pressed buy and then disappeared!, luckily when I relisted it it made even more :), I use eBay because the audience is massive, there will be someone along saying how terrible eBay is but from my personal experience having sold approx 10 bikes and only once having an issue I’d recommend it, (the point being that before I used eBay I’d had the occasional issue using other methods, in fact look at the Drama OldRider just had!) also I doubt bike trader would be any cheaper?

  4. do you know what fees ebay charge? i havnt really looked into it but i thought they take like 10% of the sale value or something? or is it just a listing fee?

So if you sold your bike for approx 4K you’d pay approx £40, plus insert fee if there was no free insert offer on, but there usually is.

  7. 10% is 400 out of 4k bud.. or am i missing something here?

  8. capped at 250 but still a bit much for me!

  9. You’ve got a point re the percentage, but there’s something wrong here, for example I sold my XJR1300 a couple of years back for 2600, the charge from eBay was £36 if memory serves, so unless things have changed big time in the last couple of years were missing something:)

  10. And breathe!

  12. yeah. lose the pink anodizing dude.... its spoiling ya bike....

  14. You were correct Derek I put the 15 tooth back on this morning, it left just over 1 notch of adjustment with the chain correctly tensioned, (I mean the wheel could only be moved 1 notch further forward before being fully forward)

  15. Plenty of room for future tightening then :upyeah:

  16. I’ve just used it to deliver food etc, the gearing is right for me now, I don’t need to drop to first on a couple of local hairpins and 70mph is 5.1k revs, it lifts the front forks to full extension too when accelerating, like its wanting to wheelie, satisfied now :)
