  4. This morning I have adapted a rear hugger that I made for a Gixer years ago and I have also begun making the first mold for the seat cover.
Now I’m out for day with the family for a nice lunch

  5. I still have some decisions to take on this bike.
As I am...I never have nothing clear when I begin building a bike/car, I just take a step back and look at it as I build and make what I feel at that moment.
I have to take the decision on the color scheme soon and as alway I have many options popping around in my head:bucktooth:.
I will probably put some kind of faring as well but I’m to inpatient to wait, I want the bike at the road as soon as possible

  8. When you cook or build something at home you always use what you have in the pantry!
The aluminium tube that I used in the white SS for the faring support and the front fender support this two bikes came of an old Ikea bed.....

  9. I have been a bit lazy lately....
The only thing I have made is cutting of all old ugly supports that the bike had at the chassis making a more clean look.
I have also welded on the supports for the new air box

  14. This afternoon I have put on the logo and stripe sticker on the fuel tank.
Next step will be spray the tank in the color who I have chosed, retire the stickers so that the Ducati logo and stripes goes red and then clear coat it.

  15. I have also begun to make the “box” to hide the battery and electrical system as all this is gone be under the fuel tank, this part is also a bit of the new airbox.
As I’m a lazy guy I didn't want to make new composite panels so I saw in parts the splitters from my race car.......
This part is bloody hard and light and won’t have no problem to support the batery etc.
Next step is to make the compartments for each item.

  19. The only thing I don’t do by myself is the upholstery, so I have to take a chat with the local work shop for that
