Started the 996 with a none Ducati person there and he said “it’ll be a nice bike when you get that fixed” referring to the open dry clutch sound he said “it’s like a bag of spanner’s being rattled around in a cloth bag that sound “ I had him on saying “it wasn’t like that the other day “

Collecting my bike after it's MoT last year, a guy on a Chinese scooter at the outside the same shop asked me if I was going to complain. "It sounds knackered. Something well wrong with that".

If i go out on the multi it seen really quiet, i can hear the exhaust and feel something is missing... Go out on the other, the whole street know who going out on his bike...

I had a guy ask about the noise, i told him it went like that when i removed the engine oil to make the bike lighter, then drove off....vroom ratttttle vroom
