When my 2010 switches start acting up (more often than not, the left hand side switches) I usually spray contact cleaner into their gaps - seems to do the trick?
I had the same with 2 different starters (changed under warranty) in the end I got fed up and striped the button down whilst on a tour of Italy and stretched the spring, I've never had a problem with it since.
