Has anyone been unfortunate enough to see how these items performed in a crash? It looks like they might bend?
I have them on my Enduro. I dropped the bike off-road, on a very rocky trail, and not only were they completely unmarked, but the bike was completely undamaged too. I tipped over going uphill on a tight, steep bend. The bike ended up lying on its side, beyond horizontal, as it had toppled downhill, and I was expecting it to be looking pretty secondhand. I was pleasantly surprised! Unlike the first time I toppled off my bike at a standstill, and it bent the gear lever, smashed the plastic hand guard, and scratch the aluminium side panel. I ordered the crash bars the next day. They are very robust, and by far the best money I've spent on the bike.
