Update: 848 kick stand fitted. Much better foot size is easier to put down and much larger surface area. Looks loads stronger and much better angle. Very happy use of £40.
Cheers mate, I'm happy with the progress so far. Got an issue with a paint crack in the seat fairing which was hidden under a sticker and some missing lacquer, todays thoughts are a £4.50 sticker until I get a OEM BP seat unit and seats then I can take this off and sort it properly, professional re-spray I expect as am 99% it is genuine Ducati part. Then when it is sorted I will put the BP bits back in a box for originality. Got an OEM clutch cover from eBay for £9 through the post today. got a small dent but the paint is good and my dad used to be a panel beater and sprayer so I will get him to knock that out the next time I am down. Really struggling to find the OEM heel plates for it. Someone will find some in their garage one day when having a clear out. Trying to decide if A 54mm set of Arrows pipes are a good buy or not at the moment as getting the link pipe sorted will be £££. Might just go for some 50mm Termi's I have seen from Holland that I am trying to get the price down on. A few people have offered 45mm but, as others have said, got a feeling I will be chopping them in after a year. Going to be trying the lithium grease on the clutch plates mod in Feb when the wife is away for a few nights so I can get the smell out the house. Hopefully the sun will be out soon and I can buy you that bacon sarnie at OYB and you can cast your eye over her for me. Oh, and got AA cover this week too.
