  7. It would not be unreasonable to detect the motorcycle is on some sort of battery tender and then pass a current in reverse through the generator coils, keeping the oil above 10°c.
    Logic would be ignition off, battery voltage above 13.6v therefore Ducati is on tender, switch on generator heater circuit.
