Hello people. Is it possible to change just the end cans on a 1098s with full 70mm Termi race exhaust with «standard» end cans/silencers installed with Termi «slash cut» carbon end cans? Or do I need to change the pipes/whole system to get the slash cut silencers to fit on a 1098? Thanks.
You could probably fit just the end cans if you can find a fabricator to flare the ends so they can slip over your existing system. You'd need them to tack on a couple of spring hooks as well but a good fabricator could do that for you. They would have to make two cuts just aft of where your current silencers attach to the remaining pipework. This chap features heavily on Mat Armstrong's channel and is a wizard at welding, so your exhaust system would be a doddle for him....https://the-machine-shop.co.uk/
