1260 Termignoni Full System

Discussion in 'Multistrada' started by antk, Oct 31, 2024.

  1. Morning guys,
My 1260 gt is too quiet! I like louder exhausts, it has a carbon nice termi end can and sounds great on full chat but how often do we ride like that…
The bike is a keeper, it does everything I want and more. I love the effortless low rpm grunt from the twin and don’t like/want a V4. (Superduke R before this but it was compromised as a tourer)
I’ve been looking to get a full termi system whilst they are still available. Prices seem to vary wildly but I’m hoping I can get it for sub 2K inc the up map.
Anyone else on here fitted one? Was it worth it?
    Thanks all.

  2. I’d go for the dominator mid pipe (£175 posted from Poland on eBay ) yes you will get stung for a bit of euro tax, but shouldn’t be a great deal
I plan on getting an Akrapovic can & the above pipe for my 1260 s
I had an Arrow can & decat pipe on my 1200 Dvt multi & loved it !, but I do like the look of the Akra

  3. I just fitted a full Termi with up-map to a 1200DVT, the sound is perfect for me and I did notice a slight increase in the mid-range. I got real lucky with the price as it was the 1200 (same pipe different map)if I payed 2k I think I'd be a bit disappointed

  4. Thanks, I found a full termi on eBay for £1287 inc up map from Italy but after contacting them they say the upmap is not included!
I hadn’t thought about a mid pipe, it’s a good idea. I’m in north Essex, anyone know of a good dyno/tuner near me?

  5. You could try a Rapidbike Evo instead of an upmap.

  6. Morning
I've got a full termi system Inc upmap sitting in my garage waiting for a new owner :p

  7.
  8. I’m interested! Where are you located and how much are you looking for?

  9. Possibly 2nd dibs

  10. Yes, the full termi system (not incl header pipes) with the upmap transforms the bike. Temporarily, you can get a little more scream by removing the exhaust flap in the OEM cat.

  11. Done it twice , well worth it .
Not too loud either low down , never had any issues in Switzerland , Austria or Germany .

  12. Be aware if you’re referring to the UpMap device as sold by Termignoni that it is a one bike use device only. ie you cannot transfer it to another bike, it’s linked to the VIN in the ECU of the first bike it was installed on.

I know not whether Termignoni will give the first user dispensation to remove it off their bike in order to sell it on but I believe they don’t.

  13. Thanks Paul, my local Duc dealer said the same☹️dealer looking for a new key now to quote me.
I just saw the same on YouTube ‘super bike surgery’ that it’s not transferable.

  14. You could still fit it and get a bespoke map:upyeah:

  15. It’s a thought, I’m in north Essex on the Herts, Cambs border. Any recommendations for localish tuner?

  16. BSD in Peterborough?

UpMaps are available direct from Termignoni (doesn’t have to be for their exhaust systems either).

    up-map.it

Edit. I just checked and it reminded me, I checked for A N Other a few months back, they don’t do one for the DVT engine.

Edit II. Try BHP in the Manchester area, although I’m not sure if they have one for the DVT engine either .

  17. Apparently the official Ducati one is not transferable, it’s tied to the vin number on the bike☹️

  18. BHP do one for the 1200 and 1260 DVT, I believe.

    £600 odd quid though, remotely.
