Just come back to Ducatis after a 7 year break, with the surprise purchase of a Darmah 900SSD. Why a surprise, because I bid at an auction not expecting to win. My first Ducati was a Darmah SSD purchased new in 1979. They say as you get older you regress back to your childhood. My intention is to be able to ride this one for a year or so then refurbish it, possibly returning it to its original colour. My one problem is, at the moment, following a double knee replacement last year, I don't have the bend in my knees (yet) to ride her. My initial solution is to fit her with Darmah SD footpegs and gear pedal, but as I am discovering they are like the proverbial rocking horse poo. Does anyone have a set or Darmah SD footpegs and/or a gear shift that would be willing to part with?
