That’s awful out of the blue. Very sorry to hear that. Be strong in these challenging times. He’d want you to be.
Andy, hope your getting things sorted buddy and giving/receiving the support that only family can provide at such times. Again, please accept my sincere condolences at this terrible time.
Thanks again for everyones kind words and support. Coroners report came back today. Natural causes, problem with the heart. He felt no pain and the passing was instant as if someone flicked the off switch.
Hope you are all coping Andy, this was my post last week. Unfortunately my farther past away last night, thankfully he left us peacefully in his sleep, I am thankful I went to see him on Friday and had time with him, although I had been preparing myself it has come as quite a blow, it's not quite sunk in yet. Take care. Steve
I’m so sorry to hear that Steve. My dad passed away 5 year ago. Though I lived two hours away from him and only saw him every 3-4 weeks, there’s not a day that goes by that I don’t miss him.
I’m very sorry to hear that Steve. I don’t believe anything can prepare us for it. Good that you got to see him recently, I’m glad that I said all I needed to say to my dad in the last 6 months, it took a friend to point out that people aren’t around forever so say what you think while you can. Still doesn’t seem real to me Take each day as it comes, my thoughts are with you.
Sincere condolences Steve, tough times. Hope you have a wider family circle for support and solace. In my experience that won't really happen until after the funeral and you're not busy arranging things. Talk to family and family friends and remember the good times collectively.
