After riding by the Blackdown Distillery on countless occasions I finally popped in there Saturday & came away with a bottle stuffed down my Rukka Sunday saw me riding to a local tractor event & an old vehicle show at the Kings Head, Rudgwick where I had a close encounter with a 2CV6 Spécial! https://www.blackdowncellar.co.uk/
Did the Rob Walker event & then rode to & met my bro over at the Milland Village Store for coffee before seeing Pete & Sue at Bury. Not much happening this weekend, I think last weeks enormous turn out on bikes everywhere was the last shunt of the year. I can see all the polishers have tucked up their jewels in the garage, so business as usual for the riders who actually enjoy the cold weather. Out both days so coffee as always.
Put some clothes on then.....Man up Ricky it's only just the first day it's colder. Another 3 months of this to come.
so it was a bit cold, nothing that my heated jacket couldn't handle, a couple of other brave ventured out to.
Walked up Chanctonbury Ring with MrsX...loads of gliders soaring along the ridge. I counted 8 all swirling around at once about 50ft above me! Blooming windy...hat, gloves and scarf!
Pah…..old age an all that eghh, going to be cold but dry so another day to crack some milage on then. It's hardly snowing yet.
