A very entertaining day was had by all, and weather stayed fine despite there being flash floods about. Started at Newlands Corner and then went by invitation to Alf’s at Worthing with food and drinks laid on totally free of charge and very nice it was, followed by a trip to a showroom at Alfold Bars next to the Roger Tichbourne pub. About half of us wound the day up at the Onslow Arms just down the road before heading off home.
Alfs motor cycles in worthing. Big Kawasaki dealer with the MV /Italian building around the back from what I can remember. Had one of my MV's serviced there when it first opened, was a great place.
Alf had rolled all his gems out for us to see on the open day, that’s the most of the above bikes I’ve ever seen in one place, plus one more at Billingshurst.
Looks like a fantastic day Chris. I’d have really enjoyed that, if I was free. Please let me know if anything like that is on the cards again.
It was an on the day/last minute decision for me Rich, as hadn’t been that well, plus new phone meant I didn’t get any notifications as it’s not set up yet but just remember that it was that time of the month. This meant I had no idea of the open day visit planned, I happen to love spontaneity/spur of the moment stuff so it cheered me up no end but sorry I couldn’t have added more details earlier.
any one notice the black Ducati "Grom" in above pictures? The lense on new camera zooms to quite a "fisheye" perspective now.
