Personally I've never seen the appeal of tubeless when taken has a whole system.
I have the cheap AliExpress TPU tubes on my road bike, after almost 3k on the same set the only issue I've noticed so far, is they lose more pressure betwixt rides than the traditional butyl tubes. (which I believe is typical of TPUs)
They're very light and very easy to stash a couple in the saddle bag.
