  1. personally i think thats most folks issue with the EU. but are scared of saying it.

  2. That is precisely the danger with the forthcoming United States of Europe Treaty which the pro-EU political establishment and their media supporters don't want us to talk about. Whatever little inconsequential deal Mr Cameron cobbles together in his "renegotiations" from the few scraps that remain of his original demands - and God knows they were inconsequential enough - will be swept away by that treaty. Cameron knows this. The heads of Europe know this. They will make great play of bowing to Mr Cameron the grand negotiator at the 11th hour knowing full well none of it will ever be implemented. Not only will it never be implemented but Mr Cameron will have shot the referendum fox for them. No wonder he wants the vote as quickly as possible.

  3. Those that have no idea will be led by immigration and vote out
Though how do you get rid of those you don't want the day after ?

  4. who dont you want?

  5. Not me the voters and immigrants

  6. It seems obvious to me that the powers-that-be in the UK, and probably in the rest of the EU, welcome immigrants with open arms, for two reasons.

    1. Falling birth rates amongst indigenous populations
    2. Cheap labour in abundance from immigrants, who are happy to "settle for less"

In the case of 2., the existing population of the UK for example are all a bit bolshy and not prepared to do the grotty jobs that keep the country going. For the 1%-ers, in their 1% life-styles, immigration is a panacea for all ills that beset the country, with no downside.

  7. i guess the immigrants wont hav a vote and will have duel nationality so can leave when ever

  8. The issue is lack of control full stop. The inability to control our own borders is merely the most visible example of the political impotence the EU condemns us to. People latch on to that issue because they can see it. There are legion other issues which they cannot see but feel the effects of none the less if they did but know it. This is very convenient for Europhiles because it allows them to portray anti-EU voters as racial bigots obsessed with immigration while a host of other concerns can be swept under the carpet. A massive bear trap with flashing lights around it and a big sign above saying "bear trap" which Ukip walked into with alacrity unfortunately.

  9. i agree. totally. up here it was oil and the pound. uk its immigration.its gonna be v.difficult to get the headlines debunked in such a short campaign. i think they learned a thing or two since project fear prt1

  10. Immigrants aren't the problem.
It's the lack of housing, jobs, school places , NHS resources, etc, etc for them that are THE problem.
What is the point of inviting a load of people into this country when you can't house, educate and look after the ones who are already here?
This statement of the bloody obvious is just one example of how politicians and their media friends display their complete and utter idiocy.
The fat pig on Sky will squeal about the housing shortage on a Monday, the lack of hospital beds on a Tuesday, that there are no employment opportunities on a Wednesday, and then complain about how few Syrian refugees are being allowed in on a Thursday...ffs...these idiots have got the attention span of a five year old,and the same mathematical ability..
It will be all about the money,as it always is.
Call it what you like : resources/taxes/NHS budgets/disposable incomes/Government spending/GDP/welfare/cost of Policing/ whatever, that will be what is uppermost in peoples minds when it comes to the big ref.

  11. for enlightened people like the ones on here :Angelic: yes probably. .

  12. The emigration experiment is over. It worked. The EU proved it could be done. I posted earlier the Treaty enabled that to happen and the UK could do nothing, even if they wanted.
Do you remember the Treaty voting in Ireland?
Ozzie was talkin today how this is a one time EU vote. I bloody hope so, imagine having to listen to those idiots for another 2 years.

  13. Has it not occurred to Euro idealists that there's a reason why over the course of our 250,000 year existence modern human beings have evolved to be territorial and to live in communities and countries of like-minded souls with borders and boundaries?
Borders don't cause wars, politicians do. Especially ideologue politicians who think they can remake the world and redesign human nature.

  14. I see he had the Union Jack on his space suit and the American commentator on the news footage referred to Peake as British not European. Europe didn't get a mention. They don't rule us yet.

  15. I think you are correct, but the powers that be in the EU don't see it that way, the idea that everyone in the EU has to be treated equally is central to the Project; the Council of Europe knows better than the citizens of Europe.

  16. maybe another reason for a short campaign could be people wont get to heavily engaged with it. so, lets say its a close call. would you separatists be happy going back in your box?

  17. Assuming we lost ? No. But we would just have to get used to it.

  18. I think, funnily enough, is both things.. EU has been following a socialist agenda in relation to issues that involve more than huge financial institutions (banks, funds etc), whereas it has shown its brutal (neo)liberal face to the low/middle class layer of society across the european nations..
