The way it is Pete, criticise rather than encourage? Criticism is not positive if used in a patronising manner.
Compared to some of the bilge on tele I think Henry comes over quite well.He does have some odd expressions though. His frequent use of 'Heh man' and 'Happy days' does make me cringe a bit. I liked one of his recent shows with the Triumph drag bike they bought and got running.'Happy days'.
It's the "Hmm's" or "Eh's" to emphasise something that he finds exciting (which usually isn't for everyone else) when he speaks. Almost to the point of being patronising.
At least he managed to get Alf Hagon onto the screen - a modest man, but he has done a lot with motorcycles over the years and I know that many are very happy with his suspension products. I particularly liked the fact that Henry suggested that an honour for Alf would be a good idea - I am sure Alf is more deserving than some on Cameron's list, and others such as Sir Philip Green.
Yes Alf is a luvly Guy.. I met him when I used to spin the spanners for Jeremy Doncaster in his grass track days.. Him and Martin Hagon were fierce rivals along with Simin Wigg too.. Jem would always keep an eye on Martin Hagons bikes to see what revolutionary ideas Alf had come up with.. Brave boys they were..
