  1. I can’t take that mate it’s a Ducati.
Me, I know I did explain it over the phone, it’s all over my f”””” cover. I will make a call said the rescue man, they will send a specialist out to recover you.
Half a day later cover cancelled.

    maybe I’m old fashioned?

  2. Had RAC for many years , only been used for punctures on the bike. Did have to be transported by lorry once to tyre shop, yes had to wait an hour for recovery but the driver was an absolute diamond geezer and was super careful with the bike, really could not ask for a more professional person and I wrote to RAC saying this exceptional man has set the standard and they should learn from him as a benchmark.

  5. KTM's have RAC cover, my buds 790 was fixed roadside just a little coolant leak. They have the ability to recover surely unless the cover is just assist and not recovery?

  6. Recovery I explained the problem it won’t start, full cover, the guy basically said I don’t know where to strap it.
He even asked me where the strap points are.

  7. Thats very poor service, I recall back in the nineties Suzuki motorbike owners having issues when calling for assistance as the 'mechanic' always assumed it would be the car division

  8. That is what today was all about explaining, I am a mechanic the map sensor has gone, pick the bike up and drop off but it never happened.

  9. Surely they can’t do that. You have a contract for which you have paid a year in advance?

  10. I cancelled it.

  11. Hmm. I had a T4 Volks van with a serious engine failure a few years back, AA turned out still insisted I start the engine to prove I'd broken down. I no mechanic but I already knew the engine was fubared. Starting it again did not fix it either

  13. Please someone upload the video of the 749/999 dark getting dragged up the recovery wagon by a winch..unfortunately I cannot do such technological wizardry but I promise it’s worth viewing when someone does upload

  14. Couldn't find that seen it but can't find it, here's a Monster getting dragged a pickle bit.
