Ahhhhh Seaton Carew! I remember having some fun in the dunes there after coming out from a night club there many years ago. Think she was called Carol :smile:
I'd guess it would have been Asters if it was on the sea front..... My mum is called Carol! .........she's not really. I live at the end near the golf club and sand dunes.
I know exactly where you are then. I used to work in Hartlepool for Expanded Metal, back in the day. Are they still there?
Yup.....my dad has just officially retired from there this week......even tho he's been in Cyprus for the last month.
He's gotta enjoy it more than the last few years there.....he's hated it for the last few years, with the various changes in its management etc.
I felt that 25 years ago. I was promised certain things when they headhunted me at the time. I gave them two years to come up with the goods and they failed. The people were nice, but management left a lot to be desired. They couldn't lie straight in bed!
Talking of crappy weather (which we were) - I assume you didn't get flooded out in the end El T? Bloody good news.
No thank god, and thanks for asking. It's been dry most of the day today so I looked at the stream when I got home and it was just a bit deeper than it normally is.
