Chris, is that what you have been building all this time when you have been kidding us you have Ducatis?
Totally admire anyone who can do that, have done smaller, less ambitious 'projects' in the past but nothing much on the horizon - how about you AL?
I once fitted a Mini starter motor and a Mini dynamo plus regulator to an old pushbike, and stuck a bloody great fully charged 12V battery on the rear carrier (held on with bungee hooks)....the starter motor drove a pulley on the rear wheel while a pulley on the other side of the hub drove the dynamo.........The pulleys were from Mini Dynamos.......used Arc spot welding to hold them on the hubs and pulled (bent) the rear forks to accomodate the wheel with small spacers to make sure the bearing cones were in contact with the forks..... .....it took hours (days) to do it for 13 minutes of powered riding (slow) and minimal recharge in the battery......... ....I never was that good at understanding the principle of auto-electrics on the charging side of things....circuits I'm OK with.
put a c90 engine in a Raleigh chopper when i was about 12-13. never quite finished it. hence i am here typing. right noo.
Maybe I'm missing something here, but the DIY vibratory rust descaler actually looks quite sensible - at least in comparison with his other efforts.
He obviously knows what he is doing to be that bad. Reminds me of Les Dawson on the piano. love the metal hacksaw for the wood.
Have I missed something or do people really put cat litter in their vibrators? Notice that I didn't say 'women'........
