999 Track Prep A 999

Discussion in '749 / 999' started by Cream_Revenge, Sep 9, 2017.

  1. If one was to track prep a **9 and remove the front lights, I assume they'd need some sort of fairing support?

Are they still available or just keep checking out eBay?

Does the wiring just get rolled up and tucked away?

    Cheers.

  2. I think crc fairings still sell um mate, if you get the fairings and sub frame from the same company they should all fit together.

  3. Looks like they do, cheers!

  4. Few cable ties for the wires and unless you really need one the front subframe can be left as the road one and just use it without the headlight

  5. How do I remove the headlight and keep the fairing stays? They bolt on light unit don't they?

  9. I have 3 brand new front fairing supports for a 999 tucked away in the loft, never got around to selling them.
Let me know if you want one ?

  10. Likely. £?

  11. CR - if you buy a subframe without the front lower supports you are gonna have to come with a solution to mounts the side panels and the lower nose mount

  12. Oh, how you managed it?
