Think i'll just follow this: https://www.erde.co.uk/erde-and-daxara-tyre-pressures/ https://www.erde.co.uk/erde-tyre-pressures/
so you let them down when they are not how often duo you check them? Do you change them when fully fuelled vs nearly emptied? 60l = 60kgs...
OK, if you'd like to argue the toss. The % difference for a car with a full or empty tank of petrol is small and not worth bothering with. The % difference with just me and 5 fat fucks with all their bags is big enough for the manufacturer to think it warrants different pressures in the tyres. The % differnece in weight for a motorcycle trailer with no load and 400kg of sports bikes is HUGE.
mate, you think it thru FAR TOO MUCH. Just stick the recommended pressure in there, if you want the low end rather than the high end. Its written on the tyre wall.
I first bought a single bike home made trailer..it towed brilliant but had small wheels = quick tyre and bearing wear. I then bought a Brenderup MC2 double bike trailer one with 14" wheels, was a pain in the @ss to move around. Ended up with a brand new Tourneo Custom Titanium people carrier. I am removing the seats when getting the bikes in(especially when doing enduro abroad) also brilliant when going somewhere with my familly and dogs. Anyway this was a quite expensive option. Where I am trying to get, if you have enough space to park you could get a proper van for £3-4k and get a bed in. A bed makes a huge difference if you are doing track days 4+ hours away..you could turn up in the evening have a nice sleep and be fresh in the morning. Just my 2 pennies' worth...
I don't get this current fad for 'no straps' bike loading, especially if the bike has a side stand, they're quick, easy, cheap and non-bulky. I wonder if some peeps just don't know how to use straps properly?
