Is this not just restaurants in general at the moment? Mrs GG & I have tickets for a concert at the O2, as does my best man & his other half. We thought we might go to Gaucho & make a bit of a day of it; a quick check of the menu had Mrs. GG's small ribeye, chips and mushrooms at £61 including the service charge. Add a starter, desert or coffee and a couple of drinks you're looking at £400 for the 4 of us, which we all decided was taking the proverbial for what it is, especially we you are squeezed into a 90 minute slot.

Thats expensive and I would never accept a 12.5% service charge in the UK being added to my bill.
