Been watching a lot of YouTube on 1299 and quite a few vs v4. Amazed v4 has so much less power until you get to pretty much red line on a 1299 and torque is quite down on 1299
Definitely not identical and Zard are an Aldi special compared to SC Project - How many Moto2/MotoGP teams use Zard
Can only compare my V4 to my old 1098R. The 1098R characteristics are probably similar to the 1299. The V4 isn't as barking low down but that's probably attributable to the electronics. With wheelie control and TC turned down it's still a bit of a beast. The 1098R would get a bit a breathless (in comparison) as you got higher in the rev range where as the V4 keeps charging hard. The V4 in fourth, on the boil, is fekin rampant! It actually lifts going down the start/finish at Donington... I have to feather the back brake! The 1098R was equally crackers in 3rd. Both exciting bikes...

I’ve got a Reparto Corse underseat system from Shakeys RS16 PBM BeWiser bike that has provisionally sold, but if it doesn’t get collected will be back up for sale. Tho I’d suggest this will be a “noisy day” only exhaust.
We have almost identical bikes except the paint job, which looks bloody shexy. You’re almost convincing me to get a paint job of my own......
Not sure whether to put the standard cans on the fe seems a shame but the akros are so loud However they look brilliant so maybe change back in the future
