Hi all, really would like an underneath for my V2 but its pretty much a track only bike, and noise is an issue. Ive seen the D170 from the 1199/1299 fits and you can get baffles for them, anyone any experience with them? looking through the noise thread and searching Facebook gives wildly different answers. Thank you
I have the 170 on my 1199, 187 rwhp wi th out mapping, and eliminating midrange hole on the power delivery
Same comments as Andrew46 with my 1299s. I normally do Euro days so never a problem but this year did Snetterton 102db day with my baffles and noise tester let me off as I was blowing 105db so a decent bloke he was and then followed up with a quiet day 98db at Donny but as they don’t carry out static testing I rode the circuit and never got black flagged. Brands I would keep away from as the noise tester IMHO is a jobs worth. I ride in the Inters group.
I got 2 sets of baffles and modified one to knock a bit more off the noise. Tested under 102 static and never any probs with drive by. Have a used syst available.
