How on earth (get it?) can any scientist know what is occuring with the Universe if they can't even get the Greenwich Meridian in the right place?
It is of course possible for the universe to expand and contract at the same time as we all know... Stephen Hawking's theories (much like his voice) are a bit dated. If anyone would like to discuss this further over a vodka or two please bring vodka...
