Sorry Funky....I thought I'd replied to you on this one. In settings (at the top), then general setting (on the left), then scroll down to miscellaneous options..... What have you got it set to in the enhanced attatchment uploading? Try which ever setting isn't selected.....see if it helps.
hi Anth. Beneath the 'Miscellaneous' title on the left is 'Attachments'. If i click on this it brings up any threads onto which ive previously uploaded pictures. Do i have to delete all previously uploaded pics? Im assuming that i do and that this will also remove the from the site? If so, how fkn crap.
If you've hit your picture limit (Rob increased it a few months ago free) then you would obviously have issues uploading, and if you removed any from the attachments at the bottom then yeah they will vanish from the thread, leaving the text but no image (yeah crap). How many meg of images have you uploaded in the past? What is your enhanced attatchment uploading set to?
ive uploaded 9.77mb of images which i guess is its limit, but i cant see anything about 'enhanced uploading'...?
ive deleted all of my pics fro, all of my threads....sadly some of my hilarious witty reposts will now be without context....tough titty i suppose.
The photobucket option is still the best. I only use Photobucket for posting to this site. It is quicker to upload to the Bucket than to this site. Once you have uploaded to the Bucket, you just copy the quick link and paste that in to the box that this site opens for you when you try to add a pic to a post. Takes about 5 seconds. Photobucket is free, and my pix are all random and not personal, so what do I care if they are all over the net?
Can you post pictures now tho? Enhanced attatchment uploading should be the second last option in the miscellaneous section of the general settings page
Weird! I've looked on an iPad, iPhone, mountain lion mac and xp pc, using the various versions of safari and with Internet explorer plus Firefox on the pc and it's there on all of them. Ok who's nicked Funky's settings!
ditto. when you said go into your settings, then miscellaneous i didnt realise you meant go into settings, then general settings, then miscellaneous..derrr. cheers for that though. i cant see what difference any of the options would make as regards uploading...ive deleted all of my images anyway now. ho hum.
